Honours Biodiversity and Environmental Sciences is a flexible, combined Honours program that focuses on interdisciplinary studies among these two fields. This program enables students to select courses according to their interests, to develop broad knowledge and understanding of the linkages between biological and environmental processes and to apply these to questions of biological or environmental interests.
This program prepares students for graduate studies and careers in industry, government or academic research laboratories. Both host departments offer field and experiential courses.

Enrollment in this program is limited
Admission is by selection but requires, as a minimum, completion of any Level 1 program with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 including:
- 1 course from MATH 1A03, 1LS3
- BIOLOGY 1A03, 1M03 with an average of at least 6.0 (C+) between the courses
- 1 course from EARTHSC 1G03, ENVIRSC 1C03 with a grade of at least 6.0 (C+)
- 4 courses from the Science 1 Course List,
