Living Systems Lab

Overview

The Living Systems lab is used by all Level 2 Honours Life Sciences students. The theme of this lab is Human Aging. In this lab you can expect to work with crickets to study neuromuscular junctions, use cultured cells to study the association between chromosome telomere length and cellular aging, and study longevity mutations in round worms.

While learning about different aspects of human aging, one goal of the Living Systems Lab is to explore and enjoy the learning experience. In this lab you are encouraged to bring curiosity to each activity!
