Overview
Biointerfaces Institute is a shared facility which houses over $16M in advanced instrumentation in a series of communally accessible suites that are professionally managed by our technical staff.
While Biointerfaces Institute has particular expertise in high throughput production, screening and characterization of new materials and surfaces that can be designed to have specific interactions with biological species, the facility is accessed by users from many different disciplines, including engineering and health science. In addition, we have particular expertise in ophthalmic biomaterials, point of care diagnostics, and fundamental understanding of biointerfaces.
