International Science Student Scholarships

$10,000 Faculty of Science Dean's Global Excellence Award

To recognize your excellent academic achievements and to help offset your education costs, effective September 2024, we are awarding all Level I registered full-time international tuition fee-paying students the Faculty of Science Dean’s Global Excellence Award, valued at $10,000 upon entry to any Faculty of Science undergraduate program.

Important Note: The Faculty of Science Dean’s Global Excellence Award is a renewable award for international students enrolled full-time (Fall/Winter term) who are paying international tuition fees. Should your tuition change to domestic fees, you will no longer be eligible for this award.

Eligible Program Value
Any Level I Science Program $10,000

Minimum Eligibility: To be awarded to international undergraduate students entering Level I in the Faculty of Science.

$7,500 Faculty of Science Dean's Global Excellence Award

International students admitted in September 2024 are eligible for the Faculty of Science Dean’s Global Excellence Award valued at $7,500 in Level II-IV of their studies. They must be registered full-time, paying international fees, and in good standing in an Honours Faculty of Science program (cGPA of 5.0 or higher) to be eligible for this award beginning in 2025.

Important Note: The Faculty of Science Dean’s Global Excellence Award is a renewable award for international students enrolled full-time (Fall/Winter term) who are paying international tuition fees. Should your tuition change to domestic fees, you will no longer be eligible for this award.

Eligible Program Value
Level II-IV of an Honours Science Program $7,500

Minimum Eligibility Effective September 2025: to be awarded to international undergraduate students entering Level II-IV in the Faculty of Science.

$2,500 Faculty of Science Refer-a-Friend Award

Refer-a-Friend offers an opportunity for current undergraduate Faculty of Science international students to be awarded for successfully referring a friend to join an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science.

Important Note: Both current and incoming students are eligible for the Refer-a-Friend Award if they are international undergraduate students enrolled full-time (Fall and Winter terms) who are paying international tuition fees. Should your tuition change to domestic fees, you will no longer be eligible for this award.

Current students are eligible to receive a maximum of 2 awards of $2,500 during their academic career.

Eligible Program Value
Any Level Science Program $2,500

Minimum Eligibility: To be awarded to international undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Science.
