Anatomy Lab

Overview

Kinesiology or Medical Radiation Sciences students use the Anatomy lab in Level 1, while students in other Science programs may use this space in upper Levels. This lab uses human cadaver material to teach about the body’s anatomy and physiology. Very few universities offer this type of experience to Level 1 students. You can also expect to carry out a number of animal dissections, including a sheep brain, and pig heart and lung; learn how to measure nerve conduction velocity and respiration function; and measure nerve and cardiovascular activity from you and your classmates using electromyograms (EMGs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
